When Is The Best Time To Plan The Honeymoon?

When is the best time to plan the honeymoon? Clearly sooner is better, especially if you intend to travel to a popular destination during peak season. But at a minimum, while you are putting together your wedding budget, it’s a good idea to allocate funds for this adventure together and work from there.

To help determine an appropriate budget, you’ve got to think about your possibilities, and of course, you’ve got to be realistic. You can also use the Internet or a travel agent to help you come up with honeymoon ideas.

Once you’ve selected a destination, it’s time to get busy making your travel arrangements. Special deals are out there, but you’ve got to be aggressive in your search for them. Don’t despair; it’ll likely be worth the effort. And the great deals might not always involve getting the lowest price. It’s the extras that’ll turn this ordinary trip into something extraordinary. Perhaps the deal includes getting a suite with a breathtaking view, or being greeted with a bottle of champagne.

When you’re down to only 3 months left until the wedding date, you should have your travel arrangements firmly in place. Once you’re in place, the rest of the vacation can run its course. If you wish, you can plan some day trips in advance. This far out, also make sure vaccinations and passports are current, if applicable.

A few weeks before your departure, start gathering the things you’ll bring with you on your honeymoon: camera and film/memory cards, swimsuits, day and evening wear, traveler’s checks, tickets, documents, confirmation numbers for ALL reservations (including person’s name if possible), and a bit of local currency for tipping. Set aside somewhere safe.

Wedding Party, Bridesmaids, and Groomsmen

While these are not traditional roles for your average wedding party, assigning someone to these tasks will make your day less stressful so you can spend your time making your wedding beautiful. Your wedding party is a major factor in the success of your wedding day. Too many couples assume that once they’ve selected their brides maids and grooms men that they are finished. Unfortunately, many people don’t know what it means to be in a bridal party. Bridesmaids and groomsmen need to do more than just look pretty. Put these people to work! Many sites will tell you the traditional roles for your wedding party.

Babysitter: Make it the responsibility of someone in your wedding party to know where the rest of the wedding party is at all times. When time comes for someone to make a toast, the wedding party dance, the dollar dance, the garter auction, games, etc. it is frustrating for everyone to be waiting for that one person who is outside, in the bathroom, or talking to your cute cousin.

Activity Leader: Put your bravest party animal in charge of leading activities. This person needs to be someone willing to lead a bunny hop, talk on a mic, lead people to the dance floor etc. It will be their job to check the area of the ceremony, reception, and dance to make sure none of the wedding party left things like bags, purses, shoes, coats, wallets, keys, etc.

Nanny: Find your most child loving attendant, and give them the task of sheparding children off the dance floor during special events and dances. Children are great, but they don’t realize that the Bride and Groom’s first dance is not an appropriate time for them to be chasing bubbles on the dance floor. Designated Driver: Don’t forget this important job! No need to let senseless tragedy ruin your perfect night.

Cheap and Unique Wedding Favour

After planning such a beautiful and successful day, the last thing you want on your mind is your guests leaving your wedding reception thinking that you have cut corners by offering them cheap wedding favours. You may opt for a small wedding favour box filled with colour co-ordinating candy. World of Wedding Favours are experts at creating quality wedding favours as well as custom orders. Cheap wedding favours can easily be made or purchased ready made yet at highly competitive prices. No bride wants her wedding favours to be of poor quality and guests to remember her wedding as “the one with the cheap wedding favours” and of course this would not be the case if you purchase good quality materials.

If you want your wedding to be first class in every way, there is no such thing as a cheap wedding favour. You certainly get what you pay for although it is possible to find inexpensive wedding favours at certain stores such as World of Wedding Favours. Quality, elegance and class must all precede cost when you are looking for quality wedding favours to supply to your guests. It is important that if you are making wedding favour boxes that they are decorated with ribbons and flowers and filled with high quality almonds, candy, dragees or chocolate hearts.

You may wish to offer your guests inedible wedding favours such as wedding favour playing cards. Again, these can end up looking like cheap wedding favours if they are not beautifully presented perhaps in a co-ordinating organza bag or a decorated elegant wedding favour box.

Inexpensive wedding favours can clearly be purchased and produced though quality components need to be used otherwise the outcome will be tacky, cheap looking wedding favours.

Wedding Ring Design

Purchasing your wedding rings from one of these companies can result in your having a true one of a kind ring that is completely unique to you. Celtic jewelry, including Celtic wedding rings, first gained popularity with followers of neo-pagan religions like Wicca, but are now worn by people of many faiths who simply like the look of the designs. Influences of Celtic design can be seen in many cultures, traditions, and religions of today, most notably in Roman Catholicism which has long since adopted the image of the Celtic Cross as one of their own.

The best and most beautiful Celtic wedding rings still come from companies that design the jewelry and do all the work themselves. Special intricate designs can be custom ordered and there are companies that will work your initials into a unique Celtic design for your wedding band. If you love the Celtic look but want to spend a bit less, however, you can simply go to your closest jeweler and find a Celtic wedding ring that suits your tastes.

Celtic wedding rings take their laced designs from the patterns of the ancient Celts, European peoples in the areas of England and Ireland in the last few hundred years B.C. At one time the Celtic civilization stretched across most of Europe, but it is from Ireland that most of the Celtic traditions and designs have been gleaned. Celtic wedding rings incorporate the most recognizable of Celtic designs, the interwoven lacework of basic shapes, entwined and overlapping in a distinct pattern.

Celtic wedding rings and other Celtic jewelry make a statement about the person who wears them to the rest of the world. Having a Celtic wedding ring on your finger will let you hear some things as well. Most common is the comment, “Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous ring!
